Super Barista is introducing a demo during Steam Next Fest, giving fans a chance to check out the fast-paced shop simulation game set in space.
Co-developed by Gamera Interactive and Appnormals, Super Barista blends up fast-paced time management simulation with tower defense. The unique combination is mixed with pixel graphics and includes a ton of different gameplay features.
Players take to space to satisfy extraterrestrial’s coffee desires. This means taking orders with drones, matching products to create exactly what customers want, and managing the waves of customers.
Different levels have different store layouts. Players will pick a difficulty and set up tables and drones before customers arrive. Random galactic events can throw a kink in the plans, forcing players to adapt.
There are over 50 levels with three different speed modes to conquer. Players can hire other crew members to help, using their special abilities to help push customers through even faster.
Additionally, there are 200 cards to collect through the galaxy. Players can find these by opening packs, and they include artwork from pixel artists all around the world.
Super Barista will have a playable demo as part of Steam Next Fest, which takes place from October 14 to October 21. A lot of games will have demos at this time, including Paradox Arc (titled Tlatoani: Prologue on Steam for the demo) and upcoming indie games Stray Path and Border Pioneer.
