Pathea Games released a reveal trailer and Kickstarter date for My Time at Evershine, the third game in the popular simulation game series.
Earlier this month, the developer/publisher announced it would be coming to Kickstarter, just like the previous My Time games. It’s supposed to be bigger than its predecessors, and the reveal trailer shows some of the differences already.
The self-described cozy and high-quality sandbox simulation RPG looks like it will have a more mature and better art style. Players will lead a new settlement on the border of the Free Cities and the Duvos Empire.
My Time at Evershine takes place three years after the other two My Time games. After yet another situation between the Duvos Empire and the Northern Free Cities, the Alliance decided to create a new city-state in the North as a defensive strategy.
The new city-state will be led by the player, and settlers can come for a new life and new opportunities. There will be over 20 unique NPCs, and eight of them will be romanceable. Six of their designs have art already, and Kickstarter backers will choose the other two.
Core gameplay includes recruiting settlers, building the settlement, exploring and foraging in the wilderness, and a robust social system. The trailer also shows off combat, and players will be able to invite the new settlers to fight with them.
Players will be able to choose from preconstructed designs or build their own when it comes to things like buildings. Settlers will also help build things and make each house a home. Plus, friends can play in the four-player multiplayer mode and experience the story and town-building fun together.
Other features include gliding and climbing around, festivals and events, mini-games, and tons of side quests.
