Earlier this month, SCS Software showed off plenty of gameplay footage for its next DLC for the American Truck Simulator, Arkansas. Today, even more information was revealed via a blog post, which gave a sneak peek at some of the hidden gems and new cargo players will get to haul in the newest expansion.
As you can see below, many of these new locations in American Truck Simulator will be on marked roads that aren’t even visible on the map until you explore them. Due to this, you’ll cross plenty of backroads, cliffside, and man-made bridges home to the natural state that makes for some excellent scenery.
While on these new roads, you’ll haul cargo that would be passing through Arkansas in real life as well. That includes plenty of farming equipment, machinery, and lots of logs, all of which are necessary to keep the ever-growing manufacturing industry home to the state thriving.
American Truck Simulator is the 2016 successor to SCS Software’s super-popular Euro Truck Simulator, which launched in 2012. It was released exclusively for PC in 2016.
Recently, American Truck Simulator received a 1.51 update that adds new animations, DLC, and a beta, so now is the perfect time to give it a try. It is currently available on Steam for $19.99, with the Arkansas DLC arriving soon, though the price has yet to be stated.
