Riot Games has revealed the cinematic teaser for Valorant Season 2026 Act 1, focusing on events taking place on Omega Earth. While this is mostly about Viper and Brimstone, there are quite a few pieces of new lore scattered in the video about the Omega Agents.

There are a few important things to know about Valorant lore in order to understand the latest video, “Welcome to my world.” First, there are two mirror versions of Earth in Valorant lore: Omega Earth and Alpha Earth. Omega Earth (and the Omega Agents there) commonly attacks Alpha Earth (and the Alpha Agents there) for its Radianite resources — at least, that’s what the general thought in the community has always been.

This latest Valorant cinematic for Season 2026 Act 1 suggests that some of the Omega Agents have other reasons for going after their mirrored selves. In fact, the entire teasing and leading up to the cinematic done on Valorant’s X and Instagram pages also suggest the same thing.

The teaser starts with Omega Chamber being wounded badly in combat. He’s unconscious, and it seems to be the last straw for Omega Viper. It seems like she blames Brimstone’s leadership for a string of failures (along with the fact that he holds her back from going to Chamber when he’s first hurt). These failures also include Omega Sage’s deterioration, which is also shown in the hospital area in the teaser.

It then pans to Omega Breach, who’s helping several kids with prosthetics, when the sky ominously begins lighting up.

Then it shifts to Omega Yoru, who’s working to save other kids from buildings that are collapsing. However, while trying to save them, he and the kids start accumulating Radianite shards from exposure, which forces him to choose to leave others behind that he can’t get to quickly enough.

We also see Omega Sova get his eye taken by what’s presumably Alpha Sova.

The four, including Omega Viper, basically take over and remove Omega Brimstone after the harsh times. His statue is, at least metaphorically, beheaded in the cinematic.

After, the remaining Omega Agents go to Alpha Earth, attacking Alpha Brimstone, Alpha Killjoy, Alpha Raze, Alpha Reyna, and Alpha Sova, where the Omega Agents come out on top.

What this means for Valorant lore moving forward, and for Season 2026 Act 1, is up in the air. Players can watch the cinematic below, which also features a new version of Toxic by KiNG MALA and Audrey Nuna:
