Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital hosted the finals of the Manufacturers Cup of the Gran Turismo 7 World Series 2025 in Fukuoka, Japan.
The competition was won by Team Porsche, which is a historical result, considering that it’s the first win by a non-Japanese manufacturer.
That being said, the team did have a bit of Japan within its ranks, as the final race was won on the brand-new Yas Marina Circuit by Shota Sato. Team Porsche also included Angel Inostroza and Jose Serrano.
At the end of the competition, Team Mazda ranked second, followed by Team Subaru.
It’s worth mentioning that Serrano has a good chance to achieve a one-two win, as tomorrow we’ll see the finals of the Nations Cup, and the driver from Spain is firmly in the lead following round 3.
Below you can check out the rankings.

We also get news about the 2026 edition of the Gran Turismo World Series. Round 1 will go to the Middle East for the first time and will be hosted in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi.
The locations for the other rounds of the competition and for the finals have not been announced just yet.
Gran Turismo 7 is currently available for PS5 and PS4. Polyphony Digital has been updating it regularly since its launch in March 2022.
Earlier this month, we saw the release of the Spec III update alongside the Power Pack DLC.
