SayIntentions Gets Runway Awareness and Advisory System

Microsoft Flight Simulator Sayintentions

SayIntentions.AI announced a new feature introduced in preview for partner-level customers. It’s the Runway Awareness and Advisory System (RAAS).

Here’s what it entails.

“During taxi operations, RAAS will alert you when you’re approaching a runway, and when you’re positioned on a runway with the runway identifier and remaining distance. On final approach, it will confirm which runway you’re aligned with and warn you with “caution, caution” if you’re approaching the wrong runway.

RAAS is currently in preview status, meaning it’s still being actively developed and refined. While it may not (yet) have all the advanced features found in some of the high-end RAAS add-ons, we’ve focused on implementing the most important safety features that pilots rely on. We’ll continuing to enhance the system based on your feedback, and we appreciate your patience as we work to make RAAS even better.”
