Airbus A340-600 for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets Plenty of Footage Showing Failures

We get to see the demo prepared for FS Conference, which will include a normal landing and three failure scenarios. The aircraft definitely looks quite advanced.

Boeing 737-400 and 737-300 Classic Coming “Very Shortly”

Boeing 737-400 in Canadian North Livery in Microsoft Flight Simulator

CSS announced that the -300 and -400 versions of the Boeing 737 Classic will be released very shortly, and they will be available to those who purchased or subscribed to the Classic package at no additional cost.

A large update of the existing -500 is also coming.

The developer also announced changes to its rather unique pricing structure. While the current monthly, yearly, and permanent options will remain available, customers will also be able to purchase each single version permanently for $45. The -300 and -400 versions also have freighter variants, each of which will be available as an expansion for the related version for $10 each.

Those who have an ongoing subscription will need to let it expire before they can purchase single versions. If you purchase a separate version, you won’t be able to subscribe to the full package anymore.

These changes will become effective when the -300 and -400 launch.

The -300 versions will be available with 3 engine ratings, defined by the livery, with 16 liveries available at launch.

Katowice, Szczecin–Goleniów, and Warsaw Radom Airports for MSFS Get New Screenshots

Drzewiecki Design revealed new screenshots of Katowice Airport (EPKT), Szczecin–Goleniów (EPSC), and Warsaw Radom Airport (EPRA).

We also get the usual development update letting us know where each airport is at in the pipeline.

“EPKT Katowice’s terminal interior is nearing completion, with characters being positioned throughout the building. New animations for baggage belts and escalators are now active, giving the terminal a proper sense of motion.

Work on EPSC is also continuing, where a new control tower is already taking shape.

EPRA Radom is reaching its final form too. The terminal and tower received their round of fixes, additional details and enhancements were added, and sound emitters have been placed around the airport to bring the whole area to life. A new railway overpass has also been added, and LODs are now in place for all major buildings.”
