MK Studios Provides Details on MSFS 2024 Compatibility and Updates for Several Airports

MK Studios provided an update on its plans, starting with the release of its Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (EFHK), which will be released within 7 to 10 days. Speaking of Finland, a new version of Rovaniemi Airport (EFRO) is in the works and will be released in December just in time for Christmas.

V2 of Leonardo da Vinci Rome Fiumicino Airport (LIRF) is expected to go into beta testing by the end of November.

We’ll then go back North with Vágar Airport (EKVG), which will also get a new version in January. This will include a new satellite image, improved terrain, updated buildings and points of interest, and a refreshed apron layout with an additional parking stand.

The developer is also planning to redo Porto and Fuerteventura in Q1 or Q2 2026.

If you’re wondering, the first four screenshots above portray Helsinki, the next two portray Rome, and the last two show Vagar.

Incidentally, MK Studios mentioned that they’re also working on new airports; they did not reveal what they may be.

Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Gets New Video

Final Approach Design Studios released a new video of Tribhuvan International Airport (VNKT) serving Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.

Singapore Changi Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020 Released

Imaginesim released the new version of its Singapore Airport. You can find it on its own store for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020, priced at $26,30.

It includes the following changes compared to the previous version. Those who own the older release can get the upgrade 75% off.

  • 13km of new taxiways.
  • Two new RWY02C/20C End Around Taxiways (EAT’s).
  • An updated vast Terminal 5 construction zone.
  • Fantastic performance with comprehensive optimization.
  • High definition building texturing.
  • Fluid usage, even with complex airliner cockpits and high density AI coverage.
  • Custom SafeGateTM Visual Docking Guidance (VDGS).
  • Utilizes imaginesim’s bespoke Operations Center configuration GUI.
  • Interactive bespoke jetways and animations.
  • Instantaneous scenery cache loading and low simulator impact.
  • 52 square kilometer coverage of the WSSS area.
  • Graduated ground extremities to seamlessly blend with any vector driven add-on.

We also hear that it’ll come to the official marketplace in December or January.

Lagos Murtala Muhammed International Airport Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

African Skies released the MSFS 2024 version of its Murtala Muhammed International Airport (DNMM) serving Lagos in Nigeria.

It’s available on Simmarket for $21.16. Those who have the MSFS 2020 version are entitled to a free upgrad,e and you can check out a gallery of screenshots above.
