Flight Simulation developers shared news today, focusing on aircraft and airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, MSFS 2020, and X-Plane.
Without further ado, you can check out the news below.
Boeing 757 for Microsoft Flight Simulator Starts Beta Testing

Bluiebird Simulations announced on Discord that the Boeing 757 for Microsoft Flight Simulator has entered the first phase of beta testing.
The three beta phases outlined above are expected to last many months into 2026.
“I know we’ve been silent on Discord for a while so I wanted to post just a quick update. In the coming months we’ll finally open this server up for everyone to chat in ( I need to get a few moderators ). In the last few days we entered stage 1 of “beta” testing. Some might consider this a late alpha testing instead of beta since not all of the systems are ready yet for beta. But nevertheless it’s a milestone for us to finally have some external testers testing some ( not all ) of the systems and providing feedback.
We anticipate all three stages of beta will take many months and going into 2026. I’ll keep everyone updated with an in depth video either later this year or early next year right after the holidays. Enjoy the screen shots ( taken in FS2024 ) and an updated outline of the beta testing stages. Note the external shot of the 757 shows a very small bug ( related to one of the systems in the stage 1 list). I’ll let you all silently guess and I’ll reveal the answer later this week after my trip to visit an airplane.”

Airbus A340 for MSFS 2024 Released
iniBuilds has released the Airbus A340 for MSFS 2024.
It’s available on the official marketplace for $59.99.
It won’t be available on the developer’s own store for severak moths.
Here’s a list of features.
- Highly detailed, custom-coded FMS with support for SIDs, STARs, and SEC flight plans. It also includes an advanced LNAV/VNAV system that precisely follows altitude and speed constraints.
- Fly-by-Wire & Flight Model: Custom logic emulates true Airbus handling characteristics, with refined flare and rotation behavior, advanced flap simulation, and new fuselage object CFD modeling.
- Engine Simulation: Detailed EGT, fuel flow, FADEC, oil pressure, consumption, and thrust profile modeling for an accurate response across all power settings.
- EIS1 & EIS2 Support: Classic EIS1 CRT panels and modern EIS2 LCD displays are fully modeled with legacy and modern standby instruments, Para Visual Indicators, ISIS support, and visually distinct panel wear.
- Cabin & Environmental Simulation: Ambient cabin temperature responds dynamically to outside conditions and door states, providing realistic environmental feedback.
- EFB & Systems Management: A redesigned, intuitive EFB provides flight plan import via Simbrief, geo-referenced charts, aircraft maintenance monitoring, failure scenario management, ground equipment control, dirt/weather/snow simulation, takeoff/landing performance tools, and full options management including time compression, auto step climbs, and ATC integration.
- ECAM & Failures: Over 100 fully modeled ECAM pages covering major ATA chapters, with dynamic custom failures such as bird strikes and GPS jamming for authentic system degradation and training scenarios.
- CPDLC Integration: Full Controller–Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC) supported via Hoppie, enabling ATIS/METAR requests and full integration with your preferred ATC system including SayIntentions or BeyondATC.
- Custom Terrain Radar: Accurate terrain radar mapping provides real-world navigation support.
- GPS Jamming: Geo-specific jamming based on real-world locations, with effects on systems like TCAS and GPWS
- GSX Integration: Full ground handling automation, including loading, unloading, and pushback, ensures immersive ramp operations.
- Advanced Autosave & Quick Saves: Configurable autosave intervals allow you to manage your progress with precision. Manual quick saves can be created anytime, with full control over file names and deletions.
