Boris Audio Works Announces Sound Set for PMDG 777 for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Boris Aurio Aorks announced a sound set coming for the Boeing 777 by PMDG for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020 for both PC and Xbox.

It’ll release in October for $15, but you can decide to purchase a single-engine variant for $8.

It’ll support all the Boeing 777 models by PMDG, and it’ll have the General Electric, Pratt & Whitney, and Rolls-Royce engines.

Jurassic World: Archipelago Update v1.1.0 for MSFS 2024 Brings the Sound

Orbx released the first big update for its Jurassic World: Archipelago add-on, and it adds 100 sound effects across the islands, including ambient and dinosaurs. You can check out a few examples above.

Here’s the chatlog.

  • Original licensed sounds, calls, browsing, footsteps, etc. added to all dinosaurs and flying reptiles
  • Ambient sounds added to waterfalls, the Command Center, and around dinosaurs; at more than 100 locations
  • Idle animation and growls added to Indominus rex, in its hiding spot
  • Improved meadow ground textures in Gyrosphere Valley (removed dark ‘blotches’)
  • Reduced height of tall-grass area east of JWS2 to make velociraptors more visible

de Havilland Canada DHC-3 Otter Gets New Screenshot

Blackbird Simulations is continuing to work on the de Havilland Canada DHC-3 Otter and has released a new screenshot of the cockpit.

B-17 Flying Fortress Gets Pricing Details and Early Access Roadmap

MicroProse released pricing details and the early access roadmap for its upcoming B-17 Flying Fortress, which will launch on October 9. You can find the full roadmap above.

Via Just Flight, we learn that the aircraft will be priced at $32.99 in early access and then will increase to $39.99 upon full release of the 1.0 version.

Below, you can also find the key features for both the early access and the 1.0 version.

  • High-fidelity flight model built specifically for MSFS 2024
  • Authentic 3D model with hand-crafted 4K PBR textures
  • Fully modelled cockpit, panels and instruments

  • Multiplayer support, including animations and effects

  • Initial flight model built specifically for MSFS 2024
  • Authentic 3D model with hand-crafted 4K PBR textures
  • Fully modelled cockpit, panels and instruments
  • Wwise engine and cockpit sounds recorded from the real aircraft (WIP)
  • Five liveries
  • Simple crew customisation via an in-sim clipboard

Accu-Sim Piper PA-60 Aerostar for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Updated to Version 1.0

For an aircraft that is about to enter early access, we get one that leaves it and reaches its full 1.0 version, the Accu-Sim Piper PA-60 Aerostar for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 by A2A Simulations.

The aircraft can be purchased on A2A’s own store for $49.99, and version 1.0 brings the integration of the Collins ANS-351 RNAV unit.

Piper PA-28 Archer III Coming to X-Plane 12

Just Flight announced that its next release for X-Plane 12 will be the Piper PA-28 Archer III.

The release “isn’t too far off” but for now we get to see a hadful of screenshots.
