Giants Software has shared another in-depth look at Kinlaig, the upcoming Highlands Fishing expansion pack map for its beloved sim title, Farming Simulator 25.
In Farming Simulator 25, Kinlaig is inspired by the rolling hills of Scotland, featuring lush green rolling hills and open waters aplenty to cultivate and explore, covered with rough grass, cattle, and an overcast sky that will make tilling the land a challenge. The addition of fishing makes for a whole new layer of farming, with the sea allowing aquafarmers to breed, raise, and harvest various fish, offering productive ways to gather resources while also enjoying the serenity that comes with a rod in your hand out on the water.
You can take a look for yourself all that Kinlaig has to offer in the new trailer below:

Alongside the new map, this expansion also introduces onions as the newest crop, which features its own specialized equipment for picking, and four brand new vehicles: Monosem, Can-Am, Agri-Spread & GT Bunning. Highlands Fishing and the Kinlaig map are set to release later this year on November 4, 2025, for PC, Mac, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Anyone interested in pre-ordering the expansion outside of the Season Pass can do so here. Farming Simulator 25 is available now for PC, Mac, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. You can also get the whole Year 1 Season Pass for $29.99, which includes the Plains & Prairies pack, two more packs, and the upcoming expansion.
