Today, Paradox Interactive and Studio Black officially celebrated five years of Crusader Kings 3. To mark the occasion, an infographic featuring key statistics was published detailing all of the dynasty-building, family squabbles, holy pilgrimages, and occasional murder that have taken place across the last half-decade of this influential strategy title.
Some of the most interesting Crusader Kings 3 stats revolve around the game’s relationship system. Players failed almost 5 million seduction attempts, had over 12k divorces, and held over 3 million funerals for loved ones.
The most popular non-bookmarked characters include: Petty King Aethelred, Chieftain Harald Tanglehair, Custom Adventurer in 867, Basileus Basileios, and High Chieftain Siemowit. You can see the full infographic below:

Since its release, the strategy title has been purchased by over four million people, with developers rewarding loyal fans over two dozen add-ons, both big and small. The largest DLC yet, All Under Heaven, is set to almost double the size of the map and adds a lot of new Asian themed content.
Just because the game has been out for half a decade doesn’t mean that the developers are done adding to it. Earlier this summer, a survey was launched that provides interesting hints about the possible upcoming expansions for Crusader Kings 3, explicitly mentioning that the results would provide feedback on which features resonate most with players and what kinds of experiences players are seeking in the game.
We are still waiting to hear more information on that feedback. Crusader Kings 3 is currently available on Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam), and PS5, starting at $49.99. For more info on this and other strategy titles, be sure to check back to Smulation Daily.
