Boeing 757 for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Screenshots and Development Update

Bluebird Simulations released a development update and new screenshots of its Boeing 757 for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Incidentally, if the mention about coming before GTA6 is accurate, I suppose now we know that it’ll release before May 26, 2026.

You can read the development update below (sic).

“We wanted to do a “quick” update since several people have recently been asking us for some news. Since the Expo, A LOT of progress has been made but I don’t want to break my own rule of not making any more release predictions. What I will say is that we are planning just two more video updates on our YT channel before release of this plane. The first of the two will come in Q4 of this year. It will go over more systems in depth such as pneumatics, FMS, landing gear, ice and rain, oxygen, doors and others. I will say that the pneumatics system is absolutely amazing and goes to a new level of detail. I’ve listed the features of the pneumatics in one of the screen shots. LNAV and VNAV is about 70% complete in total and progressing very nicely. Other systems like the doors and oxygen system have also been simulated to a very high level. So far we have 153 working circuit breakers and counting on our way to over 200 by release. But again, we’ll go more in depth on the systems in the next update video.

We’ve also begun some more testing in FS2024. In fact all of the FS screen shots here are from FS2024. These are still very much a WIP in 2024. We are really hopeful to have a compatible ( not Native ) version for 2024 available either on release or very shortly after release.

As for beta, we are approaching the first stage finally in the next few weeks. The key holdup was the pneumatic system which took much longer than expected but well worth the effort. We are rigorously testing all of our systems before we even get it to the beta testers. While that was being worked on, several systems that actually are part of the second stage of beta were being worked on/completed as well such as doors, oxygen and landing gear. The biggest remaining item system- wise is the EFB which we will cover in our final update video before release.

And just to recap on the pricing, for $80 USD you are entitled to the 757-200/300 RR and PW for both MSFS2020 and 2024 (2024 compatible version initially with native version to come much much later after release).

Finally, yes this will come out before GTA6 … oh I kind of broke my own rule there.”
