Nintendo held an Indie World Showcase on August 7, 2025, showing off titles from its indie partners that are coming to the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. In case you missed it, here are all the news and reveals.
To kick things off, Yacht Club Games showed off Mina the Hollower, a 2D action-adventure game following Mina the mouse. The game, which was also shown off at Summer Game Fest 2025, is set to release on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on October 31, 2025.
Next, Top Hat Studios revealed its next platforming adventure, Well Dweller, where players are tasked with saving birds. It’s set to release on PC and Nintendo Switch in 2026.
Cold Blood Studios showed off Neverway, a spooky RPG/farming sim that combines the best of both worlds from the pixel artist behind Celeste. It’s set to release in 2026 on Nintendo Switch and PC.
Next up was Herdling from Panic, where players are tasked with herding creatures across various environments. It’s part puzzle game and part adventure, and it’s set to release on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on August 21, 2025.
Is This Seat Taken? was shown off next. It’s a puzzle game from Wholesome Games where players will arrange characters to satisfy their wants and needs. It launches on the Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices today.
Double Dagger Games is releasing a new update for Little Kitty, Big City, which includes a cat designer, new challenges, a Photo Mode, and more later this year. Little Kitty, Big City is available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
Content Warning, the multiplayer horror game where players are trying to go viral from developer Landfall, is coming to the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. It’s already available on PC.
Ball x Pit from Devolver Digital is an action roguelite where players will blast their way through enemies and obstacles with bouncing bullets. It’s releasing on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on October 15, 2025. It’ll make its way to Nintendo Switch 2 in Fall 2025.
Next, the goofy multiplayer platform cycling game Ultimate Sheep Raccoon from Clever Endeavour Games was shown off. It’s coming to PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 later this year.
Glaciered from Playism, which was revealed earlier this year at the Playism Game Show, was revealed to be a time-exclusive for Nintendo Switch 2. The game puts players in the shoes of an underwater avian species that’s fighting for its survival. It’s launching this holiday season.
Next up was Nintendo’s infamous sizzle reel, which shows off several trailers back-to-back with quick glimpses at each game. First up was the cozy Winter Burrow from Noodlecake, where players are tasked with rebuilding their mouse home. It’s set to release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch later this year.
Next up was Undusted: Letters from the Past from Toge Productions was shown off. It’s a relaxing game focused on searching through memories, and it’s releasing on PC and Nintendo Switch in October 2025.
Skystone Games revealed the release of Tiny Bookshop on Nintendo Switch, the traveling bookstore management game that’s also releasing on PC today.
Kitfox Games announced that Caves of Qud is coming to the Nintendo Switch in Q4 of 2025. The sci-fi roguelike is already available on PC.
Next, Iceberg Interactive revealed the release date for Strange Antiquities, its upcoming mystery puzzle sim. It’s set to release on PC and Nintendo Switch on September 17, 2025.
Next, Shueisha Games revealed that OPUS: Prism Peak will be released on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC in Fall 2025.
Go-Go from Town Cult Games is coming to the Nintendo Switch in Spring 2026. The city-building simulation game is already available in early access on PC.
Last but not least, Mossmouth showed off UFO 50, a collection of 50 various retro-inspired games that is now available on Nintendo Switch and PC.
