Paralives Studio has revealed the early access release date for Paralives, the upcoming Sims-like life simulator, along with several updates about what the early access will include and pricing.
To start with, Paralives will release in early access on December 8, 2025, on PC. This will cost players $39.99 at the early access launch. This price will increase when the game is fully launched at version 1.0.
Paralives Studio explains that the thought process is thanking the players who bought the game before it was complete (ie, in early access). It’s also said that it will never have any paid DLC, a far cry from their massive competitor, The Sims. All updates and new content for Paralives will be free for players.
With all that being said, Prarlives will have quite a bit included for its early access release. Paralives Studio breaks this into three sections: Live mode, Build mode, and Paramaker.
When it comes to Paramaker, the process of making Parafolk, there will be a color wheel option for everything; height, body, and face sliders; a tattoo placement tool; layering tops; asymmetric options; and a genetic system.
In future Paramaker systems, the devs plan to add multiple outfit options, pets, genetics that players can edit, and more customization options (like clothes, hairstyles, and accessories).
For Live mode, there’s quite a bit of content set for the early access release. The open-world town will be available, and players will have to manage their Parafolks emotions, wants, skills, needs, personality, work life, and relationships — like one would expect from a Sims-like life simulator. However, it will also include the following:
- Selecting multiple characters to do group tasks/activities
- Cooking system
- House fires
- Children
- Aging
- Bills
- Museum and collections
- Madding tools
By the 1.0 update, Paralives Studio plans to have the following:
- Calendar
- Family tree
- Horses, dogs, and cats
- Cars and bikes
- Swimming
- NPC Story progression
- Boats and even houseboats
- Fishing and gardening
- Organizing social events (think parties and weddings)
- More available personality traits, jobs, emotions, wants, and more)
When it comes to Build mode at early access launch, there will be a color wheel option for everything, flexible walls (along with a grid for wall placement, should players want), split-level platforms, multiple floors, the ability to move walls, resizing object options, stairs/roof, and fences.
There will be a few things added through the early access period, including advanced roof and stairs tools, curved windows and doors, basements, pools, and even more furniture/object options.

Paralives Studio also revealed that more content could be added to the Early Access lineup list. To celebrate the early access release date announcement, Paralives Studio released a new trailer:
