The farming simulator-centered joystick SimTask FarmStick is now available for pre-order on PlayStation, bringing an even more realistic farming experience with it.
Thrustmaster released the SimTask FarmStick on PlayStation yesterday. It’s designed specifically for using with farming equipment and other heavy machinery, with three directional axes, a hand throttle, and 33 buttons that can be configured.
The SimTask FarmStick was first on PC before Thrustmaster brought the device to Xbox earlier this year. Now, it’s available on PlayStation, and the PlayStation version is also compatible with PC (Windows 10/11 only). When using the device on PC, the base buttons can use a combo features, that doubles the amount of mappable buttons to 36.
The three 16-bit directional axes also include two HEART (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) sensors that are magnetic. All together, these things make controlling both farming and other heavy machinery, like construction vehicles.
The stick itself has six buttons, two rocker switches, two triggers, one mini-stick, and one thumbwheel. It has two different modes, letting players both work and drive. The base of the SimTask FarmStick includes 18 buttons that players can map out, along with a head throttle.
It’s also available to directly plug in and play for Farming Simulator 25. In fact, for those playing on PlayStation 5, it’s the only game the stick is compatible with, and it also requires a wheel to be used correctly. It’s able to be used with the T128 and T248 racing wheel and the SimTask Steering Kit.
Fans can pre-order the SimTask FarmStick now. It’ll also be available commercially on June 4. Images can be viewed below:
