Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma has revealed a new look at Cuilang, the puppet master and mechanical expert who’s available to romance if players buy the Seasons of Love DLC.
Cuilang lives in Autumn Village. He’s very quiet and sticks to himself, though he’s always ready to help whenever someone needs him. As such, the other villagers know they can rely on him. He specializes in mechanics, and his eyes are a fun part of this — his pupils are gears.
Because of his lack of socialization and his mask, he’s a bit of a mystery. Players will be able to fully experience his character in the Seasons of Love DLC. The DLC will be available at launch, and it’s part of the Earth Dancer Edition that fans can pre-order now.
The DLC itself also comes with new romantic scenarios, along with new outfits for some bachelors/bachelorettes and swimsuits for all of them. And, of course, romancing Cuilang and Pilika.
Right now, Cuilang’s trailer is only available in Japanese. Marvelous USA has been releasing the English versions of the trailer shortly after the Japanese ones come out. For now, those who want to see the Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma Cuilang trailer can do so below in Japanese:
Most of the bachelors and bachelorettes have had their trailers released, and more information on each of them can be found below:
That leaves Pilaka, Subaru, and Kaguya waiting for trailers. Considering there’s still a bit of time until the game releases, there may be other character trailers who aren’t bachelors or bachelorettes. The very first trailer was actually for Woolby, which also supports this idea.
Marvelous also released a bigger trailer for the bachelors and bachelorettes as a Valentine’s Day special.
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will be released on June 5, 2025, on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
