Last week, Funcom gave its fans a tease of what will come for 2025 for its highly anticipated survival game adaptation of Frank Herbert’s legendary sci-fi novel Dune: Awakening. Today, the developers unveiled that pre-orders are live, revealing the loads of unique goodies you can snag by reserving early, especially if you get the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition.
The Dune: Awakening Deluxe Edition ($69.99) is set to include the Season Pass, which features four DLCs. The first of these will contain several placeables inspired by the wildlife of Arrakis, including Shai-Hulud himself; information on the others will be released at a later date. You’ll also get Sardaukar Bator Armor, which is worn by the Sardaukar, the elite military force that players find themselves hunted by in the game.
The Ultimate Edition ($89.99) will feature all of that and more, giving those who pre-order some unique cosmetics that can’t be purchased or found anywhere in the game:

- Dusk Rider Sandbike Swatch: A unique color pattern for your sandbike
- Blue Dasher Ornithopter Swatch: A unique color pattern for your ornithopter
- Caladan Palace Building Set: Building pieces and placeables from the 2021 film
- Dune 2021 Film Stillsuit: The stillsuit worn by Paul Atreides’ in the film
- Digital Artbook: A 50-page artbook full of artworks from the game’s development
- Digital Soundtrack: 90 minutes of music from the game
It should also be noted that anyone who pre-orders either the Deluxe or Ultimate Editions of the game will get to play the game five days earlier than everyone else, on May 15, 2025. For those of you who simply can’t wait for that and want a taste of the sights and sounds of Arrakis, you can check out a behind-the-scenes look in the video below:
Dune: Awakening is set to release for PC (Steam) on May 20, 2025, with the base game available for $49.99. Pre-orders are available now on Steam.
