Today, Bleach Rebirth of Souls, the upcoming 3D action fighter based on the beloved anime, got not one but three brand new character trailers. Those include videos for Rukia Kuchiki, Uryu Ishida, and series protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki.
Each character spotlight gives a little insight into how they’ll play; showcasing moves fans will know and love from the anime. The Inchigo trailer alone shows how unique controlling each character will be, as it displays his strength with close-range fighting thanks to the Zangetsu he wields as a Substitute Soul Reaper.
Since Bleach Rebirth of Souls was announced earlier in the month at Anime Expo 2024, fans have been eager to see more about the upcoming fighter, especially since Bandai Namco is simply the publisher instead of the developer. Instead, Tamsoft, best known for Oneechanbara and Senran Kagura, will be responsible for development.
The current consensus is stuck between it being another bargain bin fighter like Jump Force or that it could have solid potential. Currently, there is no exact release date or window given for the release of Bleach Rebirth of Souls, nor do we have confirmation that it’ll be on anything but Steam for PC.
While you do wait, we’ve got plenty of related gaming and entertainment content for you to enjoy, ranging from unique news to opinion pieces and editorials. That includes info on the new Yakuza live-action series, pre-order bonus for Harry Potter: Quidditch, and even how to get into the world of flight simulation.
