China Hero Project’s New Game Loulan Reveals First Images
At the beginning of Chinajoy in Shanghai, the local arm of Sony Interactive Entertainment presented three new games to be sponsored by its China Hero Project. We saw trailers and gameplay of Unending Dawn and Codename: Jinyiwei, but we have not seen anything animated of the third game, Loulan by ChillyRoom.
Yet, the game did get its presentation on Sony’s Weibo channel. The reason why footage has not emerged is that it has not been shown. The only assets showcased during the presentation are the 4 images above.
Loulan is a single-player action-adventure game with melee combat and puzzles. We’ll surely hear more in the future about it, but for now, the gallery above is all we get to see.
Infinity Nikki Gameplay Showcased at Chinajoy
During the celebrations of ChinaJoy, Papergames and Sony Interactive Entertainment presented new gameplay of Infinity Nikki, an “open-world dress-up” adventure game coming for PS5, PS4, PC, iOS, and Android.
The concept is certainly interesting, and you can enjoy the recording of the demo above, courtesy of YouTube user GamersPrey.
Muv-Luv Dimensions Announces Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien Crossover Event
To celebrate the upcoming release of the Steam version of the beloved visual novel Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, Nextninja and aNCHOR announced the launch of a collaboration crossover.
The event is launching on August 1 and details will be announced on July 30 with an official livestream.
If you’re not familiar with Muv-Luv Dimension, it’s a free-to-play mobile game released in mid-2023 (it’s currently celebrating its first anniversary) and inspired by the legendary Muv-Luv series of visual novels, albeit it’s set in an alternate timeline.
Of course, the collaboration with Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien is appropriate, considering that it’s set in the same world as the original Muv-Luv Extra and its characters appear in primary roles in Muv-Luv Alternative.
New Blazing Strike Gameplay Revealed
Aksys Games and RareBreed published a new video showcasing the gameplay of the upcoming retro-style fighting game Blazing Strike.
We get to see a match featuring Ryohei versus Nagi, and the game certainly shows its inspiration from glorious fighting games by Capcom and SNK.
Blazing Strike is coming for PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch this summer.
