Today, Polyphony Digital unveiled what is coming later this week in the free January 2025 update for the most recent installment in its hit racing simulation series, Gran Turismo 7.
Gran Turismo 7 update 1.55 will be released on January 30, 2025, featuring four new cars and three race events. The vehicles range from a popular EV sports car to an original formula racer. You can see the full list of them and the tracks that are being featured in World Circuits alongside the official January 2025 update video right down below.

- Sunday Cup – Kyoto Driving Park (Miyabi)

- World Touring Car 600 – Autódromo de Interlagos
The next update also introduces a next-gen racing AI agent, Gran Turismo Sophy. This sophisticated computer will be available for players to challenge on Autódromo de Interlagos and Mount Panorama Circuit. Last but not least, Chromatic Drive is now a featured Curation in the Scapes section of the game.
Gran Turismo 7 is currently available on PS4 and PS5 for $69.99. Polyphony Digital has been updating it regularly since its launch in March 2022, including adding in its very own demo version of the game, My First GT, which allows you to trial the title and bring over all of your experience to the full release.
