The game developers by Team Ninja was originally released exclusively on PS5 (and published in the West by Sony itself) in March 2024. Now it’ll launch on Steam almost a year later, on March 10, 2025.

The game is an action RPG with a historical scenario set in Japan’s Bakumatsu era (specifically in 1863) as the country hangs in the balance between the traditionalist Shoogunate and the forces pushing toward modernization.

It’s up to the players to decide which side to take and your decisions will influence the story’s route and outcome.

You can check out the trailer below.

PC players will be able to enjoy plenty of improvements and features dedicated to the platform.

  • 8K resolution support
  • DirectX 12 Ultimate support
  • Ultra-wide and super ultra-wide monitor compatibility
  • 120fps support
