Exactly a year has passed since the original early access release of Pocketpair’s ultra-popular open-world survival game Palworld, and today its developers are celebrating by letting us know what is coming down the road.
Pocketpair released the roadmap of future updates on the official Discord server, and it promises quite a few updates including a number of major ones and more improvements.
Here’s a summary, starting with the major updates. Interestingly, the wording seems to indicate that more collaborations with other games are coming after the one with Terraria that has already been announced.
- CO-OP Crossplay
- World Transfers for Pals
- Final Boss / Ending Scenario
- Further ways to strengthen and improve Pals
- Various new content such as new Pals and technologies

Bellw you can read the changes marked as “other improvements.”
- Improvements to world object placement
- Improvements to base Pals
- Improvements to optimization
- Improvements to UX
We also have them arranged in a neat infographic.
The celebrations don’t end at the roadmap, but we also get to listen to the official soundtrack for free, since it has been published on YouTube.

This follows a major update titled Feybreak, which has brought a lot of new content and c changes to the popular game.
The game is currently available for PC, Xbox, and PS5, on top of Game Pass.
While Pocketpair is continuing to conduct its business as usual, we’re waiting to see the results of a lawsuit launched by Nintendo, which is attempting to obtain an injunction against Palworld. At the moment, we don’t know what kind of injunction Nintendo is seeking.
