Today, Garage Monkeys announced that its upcoming used car market simulation, Car Dealer Simulator, will be getting a prologue demo on Steam and that it will be released on January 23, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. CET.
Originally announced in January 2024, Car Dealer Simulator lets you experience the lavish lifestyle of an entrepreneur running a car dealership. Learn the ropes from Little Sam, a charismatic salesman who is all about buying, repairing, and selling used cars for a profit.
You can take a peak at some of the features and the official release date trailer for Car Dealers Prologue: Early Days below. Of course, the demo will be free.
- Negotiations – The key to success lies in great deals. Haggle like a pro to maximize your profits.
- Car Transport – Not all cars will be ready to hit the road. Use tow trucks to transport damaged vehicles to your workshop.
- Repairs – Mechanics, paint jobs, or finishing touches—every investment in a car increases its resale value.
- Car Preparation – Clean paintwork, catchy ads, and quality photos are your best sales tools.
- Business Development – Reinvest your profits into growing your company—from better tools and employees to new offices. But beware of competitors and unexpected challenges!
You’ll be in charge of everything from negotiating sales to solving mechanical and bodywork problems, like engine troubles or general rust, that you’ll see in most used cars these days. Learn enough from Little Sam, and you may just find yourself running the shop.
While there hasn’t been an official release date for the full game, the official Steam page states that they are hoping for a Q1 2025 release, which means Car Dealer Simulator should at least be coming in the next couple of months.
