Today, Slavic Magic and Hooded Horse released a new patch to the main branch of their successful medieval strategy and building title, Manor Lords. Update 4 combines work from the two beta patches, majorly reworking systems, adding new features, and implementing a lot of gameplay and balance improvements.
To start, the cliff system has been redesigned from the ground up. Instead of being ambiguous, you’ll be able to see which areas are buildable and traversable. You’ll also be able to see when units are selected via a new zigzag pattern and gaps and pathfinder errors should no longer appear.
Manor Lords update 4 adds plenty of new features, too:
- New Playable Maps
- Overstock Setting Added
- Bridge Building System
- Stone Well Upgrade
- Level 2 Tavern Upgrade
High Peaks and Winding Rivers are the two new maps, and players now have the ability to build bridges and control how many extra goods are placed in the stalls or the tavern that exceed what’s currently needed via Overstock settings in the building tab.
Other features include a stone well upgrade that provides more water supply (30 plots), a Level 2 Tavern upgrade, and a new Level 1 Tavern visual. Wooden well water supply has also now been reduced to 15 plots.
A lot of minor changes and balancing adjustments have been added in Manor Lord update 4 as well, including experimental ones like pickup location randomization, rain duration timing, and disabled FSR. You can check out the full list of changes for this and everything else coming in the patch on the official Steam page.
Manor Lords is currently available in early access for PC starting at a price of $39.99.
