Flight Sim Labs Details Airbus A321 for Microsoft Flight Simulator (and 2024) and announced Airbus A32neo
Storied developer Flight Sim Labs has finally fully unveiled what we can expect from its Airbus A321 by opening a full website ahead of its release (a release date has not been announced yet albeit it has been mentioned that it’s “just around the corner.”)
Here is a breakdown of the features we can expect from the first release which will include the older A321ceo with both IAE V2500 and CFM56 engines and both Wing Tip Fences and Sharklets. The price will be $69.99.
- Immersive Cabin Operations: Record and play personalized PA announcements, supported by airline-specific Cabin Packs for tailored experiences.
- Custom MEL System: Encounter randomized inoperative equipment and system challenges, mimicking real-world Minimum Equipment Lists.
- Next-Generation Visuals: Stunning 3D models and textures powered by advanced scanning technology bring every rivet, shadow, and cockpit panel to life.
- Enhanced Systems: Experience a new Fly-by-Wire model, advanced Flight Management Systems, and features like RNP-AR, step climbs, and constant Mach functions.
- Dynamic Effects: See brake wear, dust accumulation, icing, and even bug splatter dynamically impact your aircraft.
- Operational Hazards: Manage snow and ice accumulation with advanced de-icing operations integrated with GSX Pro.
- Real-World Navigation: Navigate GPS jamming scenarios based on real-world data for added operational complexity.
A very interesting element is the claim that each circuit breaker has been modeled and is a functional part of the electric system, which is certainly a pretty big feature for an airliner.
A free upgrade will be provided for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Another interesting piece of news is that the next product of the lineup will be an Airbus A321neo, which will follow “shortly” after its older counterpart. Those who purchase the A321ceo before the release of the neo will get a (yet unspecified) discount on its price.
You can see the model in the gallery above, specifically the last two pictures.
