Dragon’s Dogma 2 Director Hideaki Itsuno Takes the Helm of LightSpeed Japan Studio

Today Lightspeed Studios announced that Hideaki Itsuno, well-known director of great games like Dragon’s Dogma and its sequel, Devil May Cry from 2 onward, and the Rival Schools Series, has joined the company and will be the head of LightSpeed Japan Studio.

He will lead the development of “AAA action games” going forward.

Following the successful release of Dragon’s Dogma 2, Itsuno-san left Capcom last summer, and we finally know where he landed.

If you’re unfamiliar with Lightspeed Studios, it’s one of the main game development branches of Tencent, with studios pretty much all over the world, including China, United States, Singapore, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates.

Lionheart Studio Teases Various Projects for G-Star

Odin: Valhalla Rising developer Lionheart Studio has a few interesting projects to tease at G-Star in Busan, Korea, which will happen this weekend.

Before the event, the developer showcased a few brief teasers to whet our appetite. They include the sci-fi post-apocalyptic third-person shooter “Project S,” the Odin: Valhalla Rising spin-off AAA MMORPG “Project Q,” the fantasy anime-style school-themed collecting RPG “Project C,” and the dark fantasy casual RPG roguelike Valhalla Survival.”

We’ll know more about them later this week, but you can check out the trailers above.

Stellar Blade Showcases Nier: Automata crossover DLC

Sony Interactive Entertainment showcased the upcoming NieR: Automata crossover DLC coming for Shift Up’s Stellar Blade.

The DLC will release on November 20 for PS5 and will introduce the Emil’s Shop” (voiced by Mai Kadowaki herself) in the game, letting players acquire costumes from Yoko Taro’s game.

Bleach Rebirth of Souls Introduces Nelliel

Bandai Namco has been introducing the playable characters of Bleach Rebirth of Souls and today we get to see another one in action, Nelliel.

The game will release in early 2025 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Cities: Skylines 2 Gets Free Germany Region Pack

Colossal Order released another of the promised free Region Packs for Cities: Skylines 2, this time around focusing on Germany.

The package, which can be downloaded from Paradox Mods, is the second of the series following France. The next will be the UK, and it’ll release on November 25.
