With only a week to go until it leaves early access on PC, Sengoku Dynasty developer Superkami and publisher Toplitz Productions are doing their best to get fans excited about their upcoming open-world village builder, life simulation. To be exact, the full release is set to officially arrive on Steam on November 7, 2024, with a console release planned for 2025.
A little over a week ago, Toplitz Productions released the first part of their 1.0 content plan on their official YouTube channel, detailing all the improvements they’ve made over the last 14 months. This includes improved UI, content, and gameplay, all based on user feedback from the early access portion of its release.
Part 2 of the 1.0 content plan was released today. It breaks down the importance of marriage, family, legacy, and community in the Sengoku Dynasty.
Players will be able to engage in romantic dialogues and quests, marriage, birth, and even childcare, paving the way to transfer their legacy to an heir, which will be added in an upcoming update after the release. To further immerse players in their respective communities, NPCs are much more interactive in the 1.0 release.
When walking around in Sengoku Dynasty, you’ll notice NPCs greeting you by saying “hello” and saying goodbye with a bow. The higher your Dynasty Level and the happier your communities, the more respectfully you’ll be treated by NPCs.
In addition to all this, version 1.0 will also feature improved AI for animals and enemies, new weapons, and improved gear. The video above provides a full, in-depth breakdown of these changes. Sengoku Dynasty is currently available on Steam, starting at a price point of $29.99.
